Default Bosch Router Plate

I finally remembered to write down the P/n of the Bosch router plate...
It's a Bosch RA 1250...
https://www.amazon.ca/Bosch-RA1250-R...SIN=B000VC76MM

It's not metal though; some type of 3/8" phenolic plastic

* I just noticed in that Amazon advert that it's currently unavailable. Maybe discontinued???

That is the Rousseau, and they are still available.

Really easy to find these pre drilled in aluminum. Check Kreg, Rockler, Incra, Woodpecker etc. Turns out the following are pretty much in order of cost.

https://www.rockler.com/bench-dog-al...-router-plates
https://www.rockler.com/rockler-alum...-router-plates
https://www.infinitytools.com/woodpe...-router-plates
https://www.incrementaltools.com/INC...lpaluminum.htm You want the MLP690890-AL model pre drilled for the 1617

Get one with the twist lock insert. Easier to remove to change bits. Many brands still have tiny threaded bolts you have to remove to change bits from above. If you get one, go buy a small box of the tiny bolts because if you drop one, chances you'll never find it again.

The more I do, the less I accomplish.

The Rousseau is frequently rebranded. I think even Grizzly had it available under their brand at one time.
