Question intro

I'm a newbie to table routing - just bought a ryobi intermediate table and am trying to get some advice on cutting a blind dado, 1/4"H x 3/4"D in 1x4 mahogany

Gerry,
Fit a cutter to the diameter of your dado, set the centre line to correspond to the centre of your dado, set the fence to line timber up to this line, fit a stop to the table, use a test piece to set up, feed timber through in small increments of about 1/8" until you have your depth.

A friend is a good egg even if they are slightly cracked!
