Hi thos759

It should work on all of them, all you will need to do is drill holes to mount it to the table..if it's portable table you want it's best to make your own..a simple apple box type will do the job.. in that way it comes with the two handles built in..

Hi thos759 Welcome to the forum.
I just installed my 1700 fixed base on MLCS portable table. Bobs right, It will "fit" on all of them. In my opinion it will go some easier on a table that uses a router plate. The cast aluminum ones, at least the less expensive ones, mount the router right to the top of the table. This is probably great for the guy that has installed dozens of the things but I thought that being able to work with the plate without having to flop around the whole table was easier. If the table or plate already has a cutout in it, it is critical that you get the router centered on the table or plate.
If you drop down to the router reference area there are a couple of templates for mounting the 1700. With this machine you just have to be careful to get the above table adjustment holes toward the front of the table so they are not blocked by the fence. Not terribly critical as that router is reasonably easy to adjust height from below the table also.
Good luck and while your browsing around the forum drop down and update your profile so we can get to know you better. It also helps us to know where you're from to suggest local sources and support.
Good Luck,

Almost forgot Rockler has a pretty good sale on a portable table right now. The plate is not predrilled for the Freud but I think you can probably get a blank plate substituted.

The problem with experience is I usually get it immediately after I need it.
