I have a router table, where the bit is protruding up from the table, as well as a unit where the router is above the work. The 2nd option allows one to see the bit when working more easily than the 1st. Safety wise is there a prefered option on which one to use????
I guess that would make a difference what work's on the project Eather way safty matters eather way I use mine in the table with bit looking up and fence or beiring on the bit Depend's on the project I like to see the bit so i know where the fingers should be Still have all ten Not marked up
