Default router drop in base plate

After many years of funiture building I am now thinking of building a larger router cabinet. I am finding it would have been much more economical to buy a ready made one. With all materials accumulated I still need a drop in plate - but there are so many types, sizes, and all very expensive. It is confusing as to what type I need and where to find at the best price. (when you are on social security).

I now use a very small premade router table and have 2 craftsman routers, one plunge and one fixed. The fixed is very old and the plunge only a couple yrs old. All my router bits are 1/4" shafts but I have many which I wish to continue using.

What do you recommend?
