Default Table saw router install

Hello, I an new to the site and very excited to see all the info out there on routers. I have recently re discovered my router that has been collecting dust for a while. So I may be asking a few questions. My new project is to mount a router lift or Bench Dog extension to my Unisaw. Any pros/cons on either of these set ups? Thanks.
