Talking Buying new router table

I am looking at updating my old Craftsman router table...and can not decide where to look for a new affordable one... i like the one on the Woodsmith show, but i bet it cost a small fortune..

You can check Rockler, they have a few. You could build your own. There are plenty of good examples here.

+1 on building your own. They're easy to do and you'll end up with more for the $$$. Here's a link to some other members here have made.

Hi Mary - Welcome to the forum.
I'm gonna throw in with Jim on building your own. Having had a table you likely have a pretty good idea what you want and what you don't want. I bought my table from MLCS, nice little benchtop but I was making changes before I had it completely together.

they never said the brand name, but it looked pretty nifty, with easy fence alignments

Mary,

I'm sure others here had much more experience than I did before coming to the forum but building my router table was my first significant project. It added a great deal to my confidence with a router, to go on to the next project!
