Default Did they send the wrong plate?

Hello,

Months ago when I started my router table project I bought a router plate off of Rockler. I then got caught up with other issues in life and its only recently that I got back to making my router table again. Today I unpacked the plate for the first time so I could size it up for when I cut my table. I then got distracted by trying to figure out how in the world my router is supposed to mount on to this thing. I have a Bosch 1617 and I plan to use the fixed base that came with my router so I can raise and lower the router from above the table.

Here is a picture of my router plate:

My current suspicion is that Rockler sent me the wrong router plate. If thats the case can anyone recommend a cheap router plate that will actually fit my router?

MinorHero,

You need to make 10 posts (you've got 4) before you can post pictures and your pictures would be very helpful here. If you will go greet a few folks in the Introductions forum, you can be there in a few minutes and it'll be easier to help.

Check out that new high-tech cordless router.. wireless and no recharging required!!

With the subbase removed from the 1617 fixed base, you will find three mounting holes. The fasteners come with the router. I used a stiff piece of clear plastic to mark the three holes plus the one for the adjustment.

Hello,
Do the holes line up at all or are you having trouble just in general ?
