Hello all. I just stumbled upon this form while researching a new router table. I believe I can find some help here. I am a 30 plus year career woodworker looking to upgrade an aging router table. 1st priority is a lift incorporated into the system. I have looked at the Kreg table and really like the T square fence design. The lift that they have looks good on-line and I was informed on another sight that it is actually a Woodpecker PRL-V2. Is this a good choice? If not why? Is there a better system? If so why? Due to a tight timeline on a job I am looking to buy a complete system ready to work and am not interested in building of modifying.
I can't really help you about the table, I use the Oak-Park table. Just pop the plate/router out, change/adjust bit, pop in, and go. Given this is a holiday, give this thread some time, others WILL be chiming in soon.
The Woodpecker lifts have a very good reputation. The Kreg stuff is very well made. So you should be OK. There are many options if you are looking for a ready made set.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
