Default My Triton TRA001 stopped working

today, this problem with power tools in general is caused by the switch so I removed the five screws holding the switch block and whilst wriggling it in an attempt to remove said block, I got a sudden flash of inspiration, a common problem with speed controllers is that the potentiometer developes a dead spot. I gave the control several quick turns in both directions, plugged it back in and away it went! After replacing the screws I decided to leave the box making 'till next week.

Harry, I love your high tech repairing of electronic equipment. Is this the way you fixed all those TV's and tape machines when you had your own business?????????????
