Default What kind of hing to use?

In order to access the router, my router table top will be hinged at the edge where it meets the table saw top. I need a fairly tight joint when in the lowered position (obviously) an I need the hinges to not stick up above the surface. What kind of hinge would I use for this? Or what other solutions are there?

Hi

I would suggest the cabinet hinge type below, easy to setup and install, all the hardware is down under the plate (top) when it's down.

Your Welcome

You will see the Alum.pockets for the hinges but you can make some out of hardwood that should do the job just fine..
