Talking need table for incra ls positioner.

hello this is my first propper post.
i just bought an incra ls positioner and have temperarly put it on my record power router table. i bolted the router under the aluminium table part to reduce the loss of travel due to the cast iron thickness. i had to mount the ls postioner off center due to the hole in the cast iron for the bit. i plan in the near future to build my own table that is custom designed for the ls positioner.
my question is does anybody have any ideas or fell like sharing their set up. i would like to have two routers mounted in it so that i can leave one router set up while using the other.

hi thanks for the reply .
the reason for two routers is that i can leave one set up with my patern folowing bit and have one for normal use with the incra. i would also like to be able to swap from one set up to the other easily. i was wondering if any body had come up with a good set up for the incra ls positioner. i am planning to build a custom router table and thought that some advice from someone with an ls positioner might help me not make a big oversight.

Hi Alan - Welcome to the forum
I am fairly certain at least one other member has a multi router table setup. From the sounds of it, you will likely be much happier with your own table. Try searching a thread "Wanted..... pictures of your router table", on this forum. Lot of good ideas as well as several hundred photos.

John Schaben

The problem with experience is I usually get it immediately after I need it.

Default Two routers with an Incra

Alan,

It sounds like you're talking about something similar to my table... if it is and you want to see more pictures of it go to

Big Jim's Gallery - Router Forums

I really recommend taking a look at the best cross-section of router tables I've ever seen which is located at

http://www.routerforums.com/table-mo...our-table.html

That thread's a great source of ideas..
