Default kreg router table

Hi guys. Just signed up with router forum. I was woundering if some of you could give me some feed back on Kreg's router table. What are your likes and dislikes. I'm in the market to buy a new router table, the Kreg tabel is the front runner but I can't make a choice. The one thing I like about the Kreg table is the fence. Also, what kind of router are you using with this table? I will be buying a Festool OF1010 in a week. But plan on buying a router to keep fixed under the table. Thanks guys!

I just bought a Kreg table and installed an ELU 3.25 to it. I am very new to this so made some practice cuts. The fence worked as they said it would. However, had I seen the MLCS table prior to purchase I would probably have bought it instead. Better price and more features check them out b/4 you buy

matooz-----thanks buddy! you just made it harder for me to choose a router table. I went to mlcs web site. I checked out the new table they have with the gas filled lifting springs and the sliding table. How do you like the fence on the kreg table? That is the one thing that I really liked about kregs table. Also, I never heard of ELU tools. Where did you find/buy the router at?

Sorry for the delay. Just bought a Router Raizer and a Rockler Dovetail jig and have been installing them. I like the Kreg fence. It locks in exactly as advertised. I bought the ELU at Rockler .com on a closeout sale. ELU is the original maker of routers. They are a Swedish company that was bought out by Black & Decker. The Amarican product line is now Dewalt.

Let me know how you like the Rockler dovetail jig. I picked one up a couple weeks ago. It was on sale. I just bought the festool OF 1400 router last saturday. Finally had a chance to use them both together a couple days ago. I'm a little worried that the dust collector on the dovetail jig may crack on me if i put to much pressure on the work piece. But with the dovetail dust collector and my festool vac hooked up to the router, WOW....keeps everything clean! Thanks for the info about ELU. When I do get my router table I think I'm going to get a Porter Cable.

In regards to a router for a table.. If you have the$ Woodcraft is having a Black Friday online sale of a Freud 3.5 hp variable plunge router for $199. This is usually a$349 price. If you can you might want to take advantage.Have a good Thanksgiving!
