Default Best router, to use with table

My first post members,so please forgive any sins of protocol I am researching what is best router tool to use with a router table for example I have read that DeWalt 625 is not so good in this regard as cutter too far down due to design vagery, help with links to previous posts and making the best choice appreciated, living in financially ruined Ireland but will spend my last few bobs on a good router when I have good advice, help appreciated Bernard

Greetings Bernard and welcome to the router forum. Thank you for joining us, and remember to have fun, build well and above all be safe.

Some times the "best" is a matter of finances and availability, but it is almost always a matter of "personal preference". If money is no issue, get a 3.25 to a 3.5hp unit, if money is a main concern perhaps the Sears 2hp would work for you. Others will, I am sure log in on this one.
