Default New, planing a router table

HI therre,

I'm new. I'm here because I have been do some research into a router table for my home shop. I run a business on my property and do a fair amount of my own construction> woodworking. I have done a good deal of construction over the last few years and I am about to enter a cabinet making phase which may lead to a furniture phase.

I have a small shop with storage room and a growing collection of construction & woodworking tools. I started buying Festools a couple years ago and own a Festool 1400 router and basic Festtol system (table, guides, T55 saw, Drill...)an ancient router table with an old Makitta router in it, pretty much throw aways now.

My home is a Dutch Colonial with plain 3" boards as trim throughout the house. The kitchen cabinets use a 2.5" frame around the doors. I plan to make cabinets using the same simple board trim. Thinking about the router table mainly as a method cutting rails and styles.

I saw most of the popular commercial tables at WoodCraft the other day. I liked the Woodpecker table top, fence, maybe a Triton router, coping sled.
