Default Quality router table recommendations

Am new to the forum and looking for suggestions regarding a quality router table top and fence. Currently own a Rockler laminate covered MDF top. Don't like the fence adjustment hold-downs. The two T-bolt slots cut into the underside of the MDF table develop indents and wear marks from repeated adjustments to the guide fence. These indents make it difficult for micro adjustments to the fence. Using a Porter Cable 7518 - 3 1/4 horse router with JessEm Mast-R-Lift.

Any suggestions regarding cast iron vs. extruded aluminum?

Have been building cabinets and furniture as a hobby for 25+ yrs. and just want equipment that is consistant and accurate over time.

Default micro adjustments

Take a look at this one for one approach to making micro adjustments:

Precision Integrated Curtain Fence

Or, the Incra fence:

While not cheap, Pat Warner produces some handy router accessories. I've replaced all my PC bases with his precision base, and also use his offset base when a guide bushing is not required.
