Default freud ft2200 tablemounting setup

I have a new Freud FT2200/2000 router installed on the mounting plate for the table. I did not need to drill any holes and the predrilled already lined up. However, I have searched through all instruction manuals and cannot locate what to do next. I see others saying the router has to be locked up (down when off table) in order to operate the router on the table. Could somebody please inform me as to how to set up the router for operation once it is mounted to the table?
