Default router table

Hello! I am planning a new router table and would appreciate ideas.I'm planning on going all out so to speak for the best design and materials(old one was very basic.Thank you for allowing me to join group.Tim:moil

That's just a few. Do a search for "router tables" and you'll find a wide variety. However, you should be aware that there are actually five tables:

1. the standard horizontal table
2. a torsion table
3. a ski table
4. a template/vertical table (only because it is more compact like that
5. a pivot frame table that is similar to the template table but larger and with a pivot circle and rails.

Please note that there is a 6th table, a round one where the fence is a secant of a circle. I have written the specifications but have no intention to build one unless I come across some very specific circumstance demanding its use.

I've built the first two so far but I'm looking to redesign my base so the tops can be interchangeable. Read the threads, especially the second one and if you need more info, contact me by PM and I'll send you my table notes.
