Default Incra Jig and Fence System Combo

Hello all,

I am looking for more precision than my current setup can produce.

Is there anyone here that has experience with the Incra Jig and Fence System Combo.

It can be purchased through Amazon from Woodpeckers for $98.99 with free shipping. (cheaper than at the Woodpecker site.)

You can see it on Amazon by searching for: Incra Jig and Fence System Combo

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike:

Welcome to the Router Forums!

I have the Incra 17" LS Positioner with Wonder Fence. I like it a lot. Quick, repeatable adjustments. My use so far has been limited to using it as a fence -- have not yet done any dovetail, box joint, or similar.

One thing I am intending to remedy is to get a second Shop Stop. This is the only downside I have seen to the set-up.

Hi Cassandra,

Thanks for the response.

Quick and repeatable is music to my ears.

I cannot tell from the pictures how it is fastened to the RT. Is the Jig fastened to the table and the fence to the Jig?

Thanks,
Mike

You're welcome, Mike!

For now, I am using F clamps to clamp a piece of MDF that the positioner is mounted to. When I get around to it, I'll add a couple of holes in the brace on the bottom of the mounting board and use 1/4-20 studded knobs to fasten the mounting board to the table top.

Cassandra,

I like the idea of keeping it mobile.

The one I'm looking at is shown on a drill press and a band saw. Probably would work elsewhere also.

Thanks for the input.
