Default Which Router Table?

I just purchased the Triton 3 1/4 HP router and now I want to buy a router table. Really don't want to pay more than $500.00. Suggestions? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Check MLCS woodworking website they have a cast iron table with a gas lift for around $400 which will support that big router some of the other tables may have trouble with a router that big....I am by no way an expert but that is what I would buy....Good luck

Thanks, Warren but since I live in Florida (high humidity) and my shop is in the garage I don't think I am comfortable with a cast iron table.

Hi

Maybe the all plastic router table or one of the all Alum.ones is just the one for you.

Why don't you get the Triton table? It's made for it and you will have no installation issues. It is well within budget.I use one with my Triton.

Cheers

Years ago I had a Triton RTA300 and produced some very nice work on it but one day I saw one of the cast iron tables with what looked like a high tech. fence so I sold the Triton and bought the cast iron one, a big mistake I much preferred the Triton. There, you now have two identical opinions!

well did you look at sommerfelds.... it is premade of the triton.... Sommerfelds is Aluminum

I have a triton and I am building my own table using the Incra plate that you can get predrilled and I bought a woodpeckers super fence.... I would also look at the woodpeckers tables.... Then Incra and Woodpeckers stuff uses the same plate size

sommerfelds does not use a plate the router mounts to the table
