Default Warped phenalic sommerfeld router fence

I have a sommerfeld phenalic(sp) router table and fence I bought 10 years ago but has been used very little. I noticed the fence is warped, has anybody else had the same problem and how do I fix it. I noticed his new fences & tables are made out of aluminum.

I have 2 of the older tables made from phenolic but the fences are aluminum & white HDPE plastic & they are still straight. Did you have it stored with something heavy on top of it?

HI

The HDPE ( UHMW ) stock will warp over time just replace it with some new stuff..it's cheap..if it's the Alum. just buy some Alum .angle stock at the same place..

If the fence is bent & you want an original part you might find one thru CMT as they were the manufacture of Marc's Phenolic tables.

thanks for the info James,
Today I built a heavy duty metal support bracket for the table, and one for the fence. Recessed the bolt heads in the phanolic. Tightened all the bolts up and now back to a level table and almost square fence.
