Default New router table

I built myself a custom router table with a solid corian top on it. I got the top custom fabricated on a cnc machine, it is 1" thick, 24"x32" and it cost me $240. I am putting down the cost because so many people think it would be way more expensive than that. Just depends on who you find that sells corian I guess. I build guitars and built this table purely to suit my needs. I am using a Milwaukee 5625 3.5hp production router in the table. It works amazing. Now I made the frame with 4x4 and 2x6 because of the work I am doing with the router. Was not looking to build it with any bells and whistles, just needed it sturdy and heavy so it would handle the cuts that I make. The top really surprised me, corian really eats up vibrations and holds its weight beautifully. My old top was mdf and if you put a straight edge on it, it would smile at you. Oh and I used a Bench Dog aluminum plate for mounting. You can't screw into corian so i attached the top to the bench with caulk. I did not use lift screws for the plate either. I routed the rabbit groove so the plate was totally flush and used felt on the back of the plate as a gasket. Works perfect. You could put lift screws into the corian, but would have to use ferrules. Again for my needs was not important. I had seen posts on here of people wondering how well corian or any such countertop material would work and from this I will say corian is a 10 to use. The guy that fabricated me this top said he might be willing to cut more tops per request, however I do not know what he would charge. I think he gave me that price based off a 1 time thing. If anybody is interested message me and I can probably get the info.
