Default Router plate

I am building a new router table top and was wondering what the best place is for the router plate. Am using a woodpecker plate and notice they place it across the width on some table s and lengthwise on others. My table size is 24x43.
Thanks

Hi Rex

I would suggest dead center of the 43" and a dual tee track on the front edge of the table...
The tee track is not a must have item but you can use it if you don't have one
