Welcome to the router forum, Sam

There are many posts and plans here in the forum for making your own fence.

Not sure what you mean by "laminate board"?

The important point is that it must come up from the table at 90degrees

Sam, both the table and fence designs from ShopNotes #1 are easy to build and excellent choices. You can purchase the plans on line from plansnow.com
I included photos of my version of this fence.

Want the ultimate home made fence? Try the one that is designed and built by Quillman (Pat Warner). I have a Woodpeckers Super Fence but this one is its equal in many ways and in some ways much better. I used Maple and Walnut to build mine except the base where I did use 3/4" MDF per the plan. I suspect you could use MDF to build the complete fence to save money, but the Maple and Walnut make a very nice contrast so that is what I went with. I did make two changes to the one I built though. I also added a Dial Indicator on the out feed end and made the out feed fence adjustable up to 1/2 inch rather than adding a shim to acquire the offset needed for edge jointing. Just to clarify, the fence is much easier to build than the plans would indicate.

I have my PDF file linked for the fence plans, but can't get it work for some reason. Maybe somebody else has the plans and can get them posted.
