Default Triton 3 1/4 hp router in Frued router table

Greetings, I'm new to this forum. Thank you for your consideration to my topic. Being a beginner to woodworking tools, I had no knowledge of the need of different mounting plates needed to use my Triton router in a Frued table. Is the outside demension of the plate standard for most tables? If so, then the only other requirement would be where the mounting screws are located to mount the router to the plate. Will I need a custom made plate? Thx Skervin

Hi

You are mixing Chev. and Ford parts so to speak but it's not a big deal to drill the new holes to mount your router in place, just take off the black plate off the router and use it for a drilling template..
Don't forget it's hanging upside down (power switch should be to the front side ) and the plunge lock should be easy to get to.

I use masking tape to hold the stock plate in place all the way around the plate to drill the holes out..I also use a wooden/plastic plug in the center holes to get in on dead center with the other..

hope this helps
