Default arbor release

HI, I was thinking of getting either a Bosch 1617 or a Porter Cable 892: However I need to know if any one or both will allow the router bit to be removed from topside. I read where one of them had a arbor detent lock and I am thinking if that is all it or they have, perhaps they will not work for a table. right or wrong. anyone know? thanks

Bosch uses a two wrench system on the 1617 models and while they can be used under or above the table the fast way is to pop the router out of the table, perform your set up and drop it back in.

The arbor detent lock means you can loosen the collet with one wrench. Depress the lock on the arbor & it will lock it up so you can use the wrench to loosen the collet nut.
