Default Rockler Table Plate doesn't fit

Hi All. Just got my Rockler Plate for my Bosch 1617 in and it will mount the Router but I lose the above the table height adjustment capability. What are ya'lls thoughts on drilling the access whole to match up my routers adjustment screww? I ordered the right one for this model and they sent the correct one but this thing doesn't line up. Thanks for any input. Tim

If it is the right plate & if moving it around there is no access hole for table adjustment that lines up I would drill it.

Have a nice & safe day!

Hi Tim - If the router mounts OK and can be centered, just drill the extra hole. It isn't particularly critical, just close enough to get the wrench in there comfortably.

The problem with experience is I usually get it immediately after I need it.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I think I will drill the hole now. I am thinking about filling in all the extra whole with some JB Weld and smoothing it level, just to get rid of all the extras. Thanks, Tim

My first post.

I had the exact same problem today. Took the plate to the drill priss, no problem anymore.

Maybe time for a quick email to Rockler to let them know of the problem.
