Default Craftsman router table help

I've been using the first router table I bought over 30 yrs ago while I've been watching for a used floor standing table. I came across this used Craftsman table with stand on our local Craigslist. It won't replace a really good table, but it seems like it's substantially better than mine. I'm looking for some input; has anybody used this table? Thanks

I have a craftsman 171.707691 bench top router table that is close to the one your looking at. I have done alright with it but if your going to do some serious projects you might want to rethink it.

You could also build a stand for your existing table.

Frank, consider building the economy table top shown in the sticky thread in this section. It is easy to cover Baltic birch plywood with Formica and then rout the mounting plate hole. This will give you the most options for a low cost. I think the Grizzly Presidents special router table is still on sale for $106 with a $10 over sized charge plus shipping. That gives you a nice table, mounting plate, fence, dust collection and steel stand.

Thanks for the replies. The table got reduced to $25, so I just has to look at it. It was much better than the one I'm currently using, so I bought it. I'm still planning to upgrade in the future, but this will work out much better in the meanwhile. I can probably get my money back if I sell it.
