Default 45 degree chamfer

Just finished my homemade table. My first project I need to cut a 45 degree chamfer leaving a 1/8" shoulder that is uncut. How do you go about setting up your bit.
Thanks

Sounds like you need a bottom bearing bit, and then adjust its depth so that it leaves the reveal you want, try it out first on a piece of scrap and adjust as necessary.

Adjust the fence forward so it cuts all but the 1/8" you want uncut. You can also do this with the height of the bit if it has a bearing.
