Hi Bob

I would stick with the Triton you can get them from Sommerfeld tools and if you don't like it they will give your money back in 90 days of the sale date..

Marc Sommerfeld prefers the Triton routers, in fact he is building all the cabinets for his new home with one. (Marc is supposed to Email me photos) Nothing wrong with following the recommendations from the owner.

Sommerfeld doesn't have the Tritons listed on his site anymore. They no longer carry the Triton brand. He has the new Milwaukee 3-1/2hp model listed.

Hi Bob.
See the second link I posted for his cabinet making equipment. It is stated that they no longer carry any Triton products. Their new router of choice is the Milwaukee.

Hi James

Yep saw that, I'm not a big fan of the red coffee pot routers
Once they reworked the web site I can't find anything on it..

I would still go for the Triton 3 1/4?

With the through table height adjustment and bit changing built in this still works out to be value.

Triton was bought out in 2008 after the parent company went bankrupt. The new owners are a reputable European company. Even CMT sell a re-badged Triton.
