Default Mounting incra ultra on 43" incra table

Hi.

I've just purchased an incra 43" table for my incra ultra jig. But I have discovered that I still need to have the 3/4 " board under the jig.

Has anyone out there come up with a great way of bolting the jig to the table? Seems crazy to use clamps instead of drilling and mounting the jig to the table.

Any and all suggestions welcomed

Regards

Rhett....

Here are a few pics to give you an idea of what I did. I've found this to work quite well. Removal is easy, setup just as easy. I have a table about the size of yours and decided to have it double as a small assembly/pockethole jig clamping table. Best of both worlds. 4 5/15x18 knobs (Rockler) and 4 brass inserts

Once the Incra is removed, bit lowered out of the way, you could make a wooden "blanket" to lay over the table and use it for whatever you like...

hope this helps

Great setup - this provides some solutions for my applications, as well. Thanks for the post!

Great feedback Bill. I had it in my mind a similar solution but had not thought of inserts rather than drilling straight through. Thanks also for the pics. Very clear indeed.

Appreciated. I'll post a pic once I have it set up.
