Default Mounting plate for router in table?

I'm building a router table, and I'm buying the Triton 3,25 Hp router.

There is a mounting plate available for this router, but someone said it's a bit thin/bendy? I was planning to make my own plate anyway, but since I haven't actually got the router, I'm wondering how it is mounted to the plate.

Are there screw holes in the base, or is it more complicated? I'm planning to get either an aluminium or acrylic base. Any recommendations? How thick whould it be?

Woodpeckers and Rockler both have plates for this router.

Hi Tommy - you just take the plastic sub-base plate off the router and use the screw holes to mount it to the table plate. Some, like my Freud 3000, have additional mounting holes under the base plate. Who knows why

The problem with experience is I usually get it immediately after I need it.
