Default Hitachii MV12 bearings

I have an old Hitachi 3.5HP M12 table mounted router. Routing panels last night the bearings went out to lunch. So I pulled off the end caps but that as far as I can go. Does anyone here know how to get the bearings out? Looks like a press might be required which I don't have. Service quoted me about $100 to install new ones. At that price I'm looking for a new one. A bit of sticker shock for a new one.

Aaron, we do not have info on this on our forums but I found the process one person used here: Hitachi M12 Bearing Replacement

Hi Mike, Thanks for your reply. I bought new bearings and put them in. Very easy and I have a new router again. I think router bearings need to be replaced on a regular basis especially for table mounted ones.

Worn bearings sneak up on you . I had long forgot how smooth the router used to be. I probably had a bad bearing for a long time and didn't realize it.
