Brett; you know those 'Eureka!' moments? Your link, illustrating a method of mounting the base plate to a clear sq. panel, dropping it into a dado/track, then pulling it up rather than pushing/lifting it by some means is brilliant!
Thanks for that, eh!
Cheers,
-Dan

If I can find the book were I make mine, it's quite similar and can't work without it.
I'll try to find them today and post them.

I made plans up in Sketchup that I can email to you. It is very similar to the model you looked at.

I was looking at a Woodhaven catalog list nite and their horizontal table looks fairly simple. I thought about trying to build one similar but came to the conclusion it would be a waste of time and money because I doubt my ever needing one. The only useful feature about the table for my use would be the adjustable table from 0 to 45 degrees. As far as that goes there are several plans for adjustable jigs online and in woodworking books to use on a regular table.

When something is advertised as being foolproof there is always a better class of fool that comes along to prove them wrong.

Hey guys, a lot of great info. Thanks a lot for your help. @Thrinfo, I'd love to see info from the book if you can find it. This will be my first homemade router table and I just think this one will benefit me more than a traditional one till I get time to build one of those too, or figure out how to do both in one table, shouldn't be too hard.

send me your email on my mp, I can't send you mp for now, for now I'm still under the request for sending email, the pdf file I've make yesterday is about 6mb, I've scan all the information.

The advantage about the two knob for adjusting the height is easier adjusting than having only one.
as soon I receive your email, I'll send it to you.
