Default Miters?

I love making small boxes but hate setting up the TS each time for the 45 degrees. Any wY to get accurate, repeatable miters on the table router? Let's see what you got.

How thick is your stock? I would use a chamfer bit for stock up to 3/4 in (19 mm).

I've done a few with 1/4" stock by using a v-groove bit. One board, cut not quite all the way through (2 passes) and fold to assemble. Saw it in an old Wood Magazine. Rout groove for bottom and lid, along with a groove for lid lip before running v-grooves. Band saw the lid off after glue-up.

Makes a nice continuous grain box.
