Default Micro Adjuster Router Boss

Hello,

New to Forum.

I have a Router Boss and contemplating purchasing a micro adjuster for it. Does anyone have experience using this micro adjuster and does it lock the sliding bar? Is it easy to use?

Thanks,

Tom

HI Tom. I notice that you have been a member since 2009.

Thanks for coming out into the light.......VBG.

Any reason that you use the Router Boss and not the Wood Rat?

I have a Wood Rat, but it had short comings and I bought the Router Boss which overcome those problems. The new Wood Rat has overcome those short comings.

Tom, why do you feel you need the micro adjuster?

I use a digital readout (RDO) and it requires a deft hand to hit a specific number and I thought this tool may assist in acquiring it easier.

It appears that no one has tried it. I have bought tools in the past that have turned out to be not worth the money and I wish to avoid this, so I asked the question.

Default Router Boss Micro-adjuster.

The Router Boss micro-adjuster locks the sliding bar when in use, but can be easily engaged and disengaged or removed when not needed.

The micro-adjuster is especially helpful when using the DRO and computer generated templates that provide precise cut positions for the digital readout.
