Default Router Table Purchase Question

I have been looking online at the T10432 Router Table from Grizzly and the Large Table Router at Router Table Depot with the aluminum insert. Total delivered prices are virtually the same as well as the specs on each table (other than the insert). The photos look like the same table. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I am a new member too and have the same questions on buying the right table, so I only have to do it once…if there is such a thing in router-obssesed fans. Looked at the Grizzly due to its attractive price. My quote delivered was $156. Rockler is running a May promo through the 31st for a complete system for $199. Going with Rockler due to local pickup and warranty as well as expert technical assistance. Research has told me that there are some quality issues with the Grizzly, most importantly with the plastic insert plate sagging, which is the whole foundation for precision routing. For the $44 extra, it is well worth the difference for a better, proven table system IMHO (in my humble opinion) Good luck in your quest…Woodster 74

I have a Griz table got it from amazon open box deal for under $100 delivered.
Seems like a good table, did not hang the router yet but looks ok so far. In an case not real hard to replace the router plate. I do recommend a full size table, whatever one you buy, the little table top ones never worked well for me.

LarrynKy - I too looked at the Grizzly table after reading recommendations on routerforums.com. I also read the damage issues that some members reported. Looking at the router table from Router Table Depot, it appears to be the same as the router table on Grizzly. And while I own several Grizzly tools and am happy with them, I would lean toward purchasing from Router Table Forum. Here's the link to the one I think you're referring to. Notice the price includes shipping.

Large Deluxe Router Table, RM405 - Specials

It looks like a nice table. I am very tempted by this apparently good deal. My only concern would be related to the condition of the table on arrival. That is why I lean away from Grizzly.

The T10432 Router Table from Grizzly is a clone table sold under may names.

I am on my second table here is Australia and have been very happy with the table.

Some reports of bad packaging/delivery are floating around in the US, but overall, most buyers report they are happy with the table.

I use the black plastic insert supplied with the table hanging a heavy Triton TRA001 and have no problem with sagging. However, due to where I store my table, I remove the router and plate and stand the router 'right way up' in my shed.

My other table is an Oak Park table [16" x 30"], so cannot help with any other tables on the market.

My recommendation is as usuaql, make your own. That way you get what 'you' want, and not what someone else thinks you want. I'm on #4 or 5, and am very happy.
