Default Newbee question on router fence

I need to put slots in some aluminum angle for my sub-fence. Any ideas on the best way to do this? I was thinking jig saw using the base side as a fence, but each side of the angle is only 3". Any and all ideas welcome.
Thanks, Kevin

Hi boxer

That would work but how about just putting the slot in the sub fence and just drilling a hole in the Alum. angle stock..
Just put in two one wide one for the head of a carr.bolt head and one for the shank of the carr.bolt..

Or you can just put in a Tee-Slot on the back side of the sub.fence and use a hex head bolt and one hole in the Alum. angle...and a knob(s) on the back side..

Sounds like a winner, and the least amount of work. I appreciate it.
