Default Flip up mini router table

This is such a tempting idea... maybe I will have to find an el cheapo router on Craigslist and give this idea a try!

Thanks, Doug.
I also like it! It will not fit my table, but maybe I can modify it a little.

I don't know if I have room for a flip up on my table, but maybe a cleat that locks onto the side. I can't work on it until May, so that will give me some ideas for the design.

Interesting idea, but it is impractical in my shop due to space issues. Thanks and passed the link onto a Fellow Woodworker.

Having two laminate trimmers, a round over bit is permanently mounted on one. To protect the exposed part of the bit, I bored a 1” or so diameter hole in a piece of 2x4”, then secured it to the trimmer with a piece elastic tubing.

If you mount one to a mobile router table, just ‘best-better’ remember that there is something hanging off the table when moving the table. Not to say that I ever managed to mangle one of the fold down supper arms when moving my sliding miter saw cart....
