Hi, Someone asked if they should buy a planer first or a jointer. I would buy the jointer first, this way you can build OK projects. If you buy a 6 inch jointer it says you can use it as a planer, not a very good idea. Brady

Hi, I'm Erin, and my significant other is one of those great guys who uses my garage space to store many board feet of lumber :) Anyway, He has a Craftsman 12 1/2" planer, model 351.233731 and apparently he's lost an "adjusting tool" for the blades, the one that he described to me that...

I am looking for the best bench top thickness planer for the money. I understand you get what you pay for but there must be some really good planers out there that are $500 or less. I have access to a very heavy 13" Rockwell planer at the neighbors to rough plane "rough sawn" lumber. I would...

Hi, I know this isn't strictly speaking a router question, but I'm hoping someone can help! I make quite a bit of furniture (as a hobby) and have a couple of routers and a belt sander among the tool collection. Someone is very kindly offering to buy me a tool as a present, and I was thinking...

  13. Tools and Woodworking
Hi Does anyone have one of these, please? My eBay one arrived with a small damaged part although the plane is otherwise functional and came with new blades. There is a spring loaded orange plastic thing on the right of the bed and this is partly broken. All the pics I've seen always show the...
