I acquired a 20 Year old (?) craftsman router, I pulled the top off to oil the bearing, a small diameter spring about 11/4” long fell out before I seen where it went and I’m unable figure it out. Of course I can’t fined an exploded view of this mechanism. Hope someone can assist me. Thank you.

I am getting back to wood working after many years absence. I have a Sears Router model no. 315025070 that was working when I put it in storage but now it will not run. Can't find anybody who is willing to fix it. If someone knows where to get it repaired I would appreciate it.
