Welcome to the forum:)
Sorry I have knowledge regarding that bandsaw. Now that you’ve introduced yourself, I’d create a new thread in the tool section where you’ll get a lot more traffic .

@Carly - welcome to the forum. Your profile doesn't list your location (or your first name). I live in Canada and that make of saw was sold by a chain of hardware stores here - Home Hardware. That saw, like many other tools was made at a factory in Asia, presumably China or Taiwan, not sure which, but as far as quality, likely mid to lower end of the pack. Do you have a special interest, are you looking at purchasing one?

Welcome to the forum Carly.
Hi Carly and welcome. I tried to find a new Trademaster at Home Hardware in Canada but none of the stores I checked sold one. I also found out that there is a Dake Trademaster brand that appears it might be a commercial grade but still Asian. They are generally on the low end of the quality scale. What price are you paying, what do you intend to do with it, etc. We can give better advice if we know more.

There is a short thread on this forum back in 2015, started by BrianS that would be worth a look.

I did a quick google search and the prices noted seemed high to me but it was listed as “industrial” with metal cutting capability.
I bought a Trade Master from Ford Machinery in Toronto about 18 years ago and I still have it. Quality wise I would say it is average or below but it has served me well over these years.
