2 car workshop/storage/garage

Hi I thought I would show you where I do my thing!

I have a two car metal garage that I use for my wood working. I also share it with some storage. Alas no cars fit in there now. It is not heated :frown: so at the moment, with the weather here in Melbourne Australia being cold, I do not get out there often.

Along the back I have a 2 meter Dexion bench with a general storage shelf underneath. On this bench I have my Bosch drill press, GMC bandsaw, scroll saw and a small chop saw. On the wall is storage for my drills, face shield, ear protection and my power tool charging station. Next to the bench is my trusty shop vac and some general storage shelves.

Along the side wall is 2 Dexion benches with my vise. Under one bench is my black mobile storage unit. Under the other is a small storage cupboard and usually my shop compressor. Unfortunately since this bench has two IKEA slim drawers fitted and I have recently fitted casters to my compressor it no longer fits under the bench. A dilemma to sort out later!
On the wall above these benches is my shop made saw till and tool storage.

Currently my wood storage is not very neat, as you can see from the pic, but I will do something here later. My Evolution Table saw is folded on it's stand, as is my Bosch sliding mitre saw.

I have a large multi-compartment storage locker that was given to me by a friend. This is used to store consumables as well as some of my smaller power tools, like my Dremel.

I will add more pics as I get a bit more organised and let you know what other goodies I stoill have hidden away!:laugh2:

Cheers!

Thanks Rick but I got my idea from the internet and it works well. I added the bit and drill storage area on the right of the unit.

Hey Stick. As we know, whatever works for you. Some of us overdo it a bit!:laugh2:
It all looks nice and tidy though mate.

Hi Henry, looks like you just joined in the fun. I'm curious, does a separate, wired, insulated shed/workshop increase the value of a property? Kind of courious about that

Meanwhile, this is a great bunch of folks and welcome.

It's one thingy to have a place for everything, but quite another to ALWAYS put things back where they belong.
