3 in 1 high chair. Tray Finished

827 Views 4 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  ksidwy
I finished the tray for that 3 in one highchair that I built a while back. Recently I posted some of the pictures of me making the tray.
I since my grand daughter had the highchair out of town, I just gave them the tray and the hardware when they came by for a visit.
I was worried about my grand daughter husbands skills in mounting the tray but they sent me a picture of my great grand daughter in it with the tray attached.
I'll post the pictures of me making it again and the finished pictures.

The first shot is me covered in saw dust when I routered the center of the tray out.
The second one is the cut out of the tray from the stock. I had to dowel two pieces of Maple together to get it wide enough for the tray.
Then the tray bottom as I stained and varnished it.
Then my beautiful Great Grand daughter using the tray.
Of course I accused my grand daughter of having Sasha hold the tray in place as they took the picture, but she assures me that it is in fact
connected to the highchair. I guess her husband has some skills.
