4 x 2 wood cutting a notch with fusion 360

Hi all.
Been a bit stupid today and can't figure out how to program fusion 360 to cut a notch in a peice of 4 x 2 as pictured!

Can anybody tell me what tool path to use please?

Contour, assuming you're laying the board flat on your spoilboard and not on edge. You'll get a rounded inside corner, though, but that's to be expected.

Thanks David for that. When I select 2d contour, it wants to contour the whole piece! I have already got the 4" x 2" wood just need the notch taking out!

Yes I remeber now to selcet the bottom line whilst holding the alt key! Sorted cheers

Sorry, didn't realize that was the issue. You want to select 'Open' rather than 'Closed' contour.

Edit - looks like you've got it figured out.
