Hi
thanks for you kind comment. I see what you did there, fruits of my labours, good one
Colin
HiThat looks really nice, Colin. I'm sure you'll enjoy the fruits of your efforts. ;-)
I'll bet you got some "good boy" points from the missus with that one. I hope it got you some extra play time in the shop too.
A friend and business partner some years ago, found one of these at a business that was closing down, that looked to be identical to that one that you have. We had to scramble to get it removed from the business before it changed hands, and then transported to his place. Then we had to pour a bigger concrete porch over his original porch and re-assemble the greenhouse on it. As considerable time (months) occurred between the teardown and re-assembly, and our lack of time to label everything during teardown made re-assembly a bit challenging, it became quite a task to get it back together on that new larger porch, but it turned out very well. His greenhouse has been a place of enjoyment for about the last 40 + years now.
I'm certain that you put a lot of work, and money, into this, but you seem to have done well, even to the building of the cabinet and potting bench. Congratulations on a job "Well Done".

Hi Tom. I had just laid a large area of the back yard with 18x18inch slabs, but they were on a slope so I used what I had left to level up a base . I also left a gap between to lines of slabs to form a drain run off for any excess water and to empty the water tank for cleaning.Did you pour a slab for this, or did you use something else for the bottom?
