Hi, guys.
For so many years I have had a homemade marking tool for my woodworking projects. Recently I saw a Youtube video showing an interesting and small marking tool that I made in an afternoon.
Picture 2 shows my original marking tool. It is a piece of oak that I rescued from the roof installed in the backyard. A 1-inch dowel with a pencil in one end and a sharp electrode core in the other and a broken plastic screw with 2 nuts.
Following the simple instructions given in the video with some small variations, it was easy to finish the new marking tool. It was finished with mineral oil. It is possible to use the tool with Imperial or SI units and I can use it to set the position for the RT fence or the height of the blade in the TS.
