Good Morning!
This is my first time here.
My question is how do I align my router table fence to be even with the miter slot and keep it even with the befaring on the top of the bit?
I have made several jigs to do this that wor, but are rather large and bulky. Any suggestions would of great help.
Thanks!

The Old Oak Tree

That's one the neat things about a router table it DOES NOT need to be true/sq. with the miter slots.
Use brass set up bars,1/4" plastic, just about anything that's true and flat.

Take the time to view the link below it will help.

If you use a miter gauge in the miter slot then it does have to be parallel to the fence. That is a good reason not to use them and why many of us use sleds instead. If you insist on using the miter guage then either make or buy some parallel blocks to align the fence to the slot.
