May I suggest that you adapt a modern Makita 1 1/4 HP Router Model RT0701C to your table which originally only had a 7/8 HP router.
Just drill a few holes on the Table to fit the RT0701C which is narrow enough and height adjustment by rack and pinion is similar.to your original.
