Another Happy Camper

Had a 3peat Polish Eagle customer order a plaque to show off his Corvette. So I used my "custom" show off file and cut it out of a piece of glued up oak with 4 coats of oil based poly. The picture port is just a pocket cut with a piece of 1/4" clear acrylic to fit over a pic (a 4 x 6 works great). He picked it up a few weeks ago, seemed happy, and went on his way. He just sent me the pic with his proud "Other Girl" along with a nice note of appreciation.

Nice job, as usual! Did you also cut the acrylic?

Yes Sir. Used a plastic cutting bit. Cut a sheet of them (rows of four). Just have to pop one out by cutting 2 tabs, sand a little to fit, and pop it in. I also drill a 1/16 hole on each side and include nice nails to use if they want. With different humidity and circumstances the acrylic may not always stay in.
